WHY WE BUILT THIS / A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDERS
An idea deserves
room to become.
“The only limitation should be your imagination.”
THE PRINCIPLE WE KEEP COMING BACK TOWe kept coming back to the same question: what if the space between imagining something and exploring it could be smaller?
A model starts as an idea. To understand it, you might need geometry, a few equations, an experiment and a second pair of eyes. We wanted a place where those things could stay connected as the work changed.
So we started building
the workspace we wanted.
We built Neeuman around the model and its context: what it looks like, how it behaves, how it is described in code and what the people working on it are trying to discover. Our own domain-specific language is part of that connection. So are visual tools, a project-aware terminal, AI assistance and collaboration.
The films on this site come from actual Neeuman projects. A material responds to contact. Light takes another path. A ball follows a water course. A harvesting system turns a field into a connected process. Each is a way of asking a question and making the result visible.
A place to learn.
A place to discover.
For a student, that may start with understanding a physical idea. For a researcher, it may mean building an experiment with collaborators and connected AI agents. For an organization, a separate Industry environment brings the same ambition into domain-specific models and operational workflows.
What we’re working toward.
We want a person with a question, a team with a design or an organization with a complex system to have a clearer path from a first model to a useful next step. That means deeper validation, more useful AI-assisted workflows and collaboration that keeps the whole team in context.
We’re still building. We show what works, explain what a demonstration represents and keep refining the parts that need more work. We’re looking for people who want to help shape what comes next.
